Overview
What is carbon laser peel (hollywood peel)?
A carbon peel applies a carbon-based layer that is then targeted by a laser, treating superficial congestion and oil. It is a light treatment used as an adjunct, not a replacement for medical acne care.
Every plan at Own Skin Dermatology & Advanced Aesthetics begins with a consultation, an honest assessment of what will help, and what will not.

The science
How carbon laser peel (hollywood peel) works
A carbon layer is applied and allowed to settle into pores
01
Apply the carbon layer
A fine carbon-based layer settles into surface pores and oil.
02
Pass the laser
Laser energy targets the carbon, lifting surface debris with it.
03
Repeat as routine
The refreshing effect is temporary, so sessions are scheduled as maintenance.
Sessions are spaced across a short course
