No doctor-patient relationship

Reading this website, submitting a form, or exchanging messages with our team about an appointment does not create a doctor-patient relationship. That relationship begins when you are assessed by one of our dermatologists at the clinic.

Do not self-diagnose or self-treat

Many skin conditions look alike and are treated differently. Acne can be fungal folliculitis; a dark patch can be melasma, post-inflammatory pigmentation or something that needs a biopsy; a rash can be eczema, psoriasis, a fungal infection or an allergy. Suitability and results vary

No treatment suits everyone. Whether a treatment is appropriate for you depends on your diagnosis, skin type, medical history, medication, pregnancy or breastfeeding status and other factors that can only be assessed in person. Where the website describes benefits, timelines or session numbers, these are typical ranges drawn from clinical experience and published literature; your response may be faster, slower or different. Nothing on this website is a guarantee of a result.

Any case photographs we publish are of real patients treated at the clinic, shown with their written consent, and are not edited to alter the result. They illustrate what was achieved for that individual and are not a promise of the same outcome for you.

Devices, products and brand names

Where a device or product is named, it is because it is used at our clinic. References to regulatory clearances describe the manufacturer’s stated status and do not imply that a treatment is appropriate for every person. Settings and protocols are decided by the dermatologist for each patient.

Emergencies

This website and our messaging channels are not monitored for emergencies. If you have a severe allergic reaction, rapidly spreading rash with fever, a wound that will not stop bleeding, or any other medical emergency, go to the nearest hospital emergency department or call your local emergency number immediately.
